The specialists of the “Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise” carried out battle area clearance activities in Kechut settlement, Vayots dzor region, RA in October. 15 354m2 area was cleared, 5 КОБЭ M-095 cluster submunitions were identified. The identified submunition was demolished.
In October the “CHDE” demining team, cooperating with local governing bodies of Syunik region and the rescue service, according to the information received, implemented activities to identify unexploded ordnance in Tegh village. 2 122mm projectile, 1 125mm and 1 152mm were identified. The identified ordnance was demolished.
In October, as a result of survey, the “CHDE” specialists identified 1 “ПГ-7” anti-tank grenade and 4 “ВОГ-25” fragmental grenade in Kuchak settlement, Aparan community, Aragatsotn region. The identified ordnance was demolished.
In October the “CHDE” specialists implemented explosive ordnance risk education in Meghri community, Syunik region and Vagharshapat city, Armavir region.
The schoolchildren, teachers, as well as the community residents were taught about mine and explosive ordnance risk, the rules of safe conduct. In October EORE was conducted for 378 citizens.
