From April 7 to 23, the “Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise” SNCO mine risk education (MRE) specialists implemented mine risk awareness raising activities in educational institutions and communities of 19 settlements in Noyemberyan (Tavush region) and Meghri (Syunik region).
The goal is to raise the level of awareness among Armenian citizens, to familiarize them with the dangers posed by explosive ordnance and mines, as well as the rules of safe behavior in case of encountering such items.
Knowledge of safety rules is the guarantee for the safety of our citizens.
As a result of the MRE, 1916 citizens were informed.
Mine risk education activities are ongoing and will continue in the regions of Armenia.
